This year we will honor the Vision 2025 Philanthropy Award recipient Judy Tenenbaum, Advocate for Youth Award recipient Tamika Edwards, Visionary Award recipient Judge Paula Juels Jones, and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient former Arkansas First Lady Ginger Beebe.

Each year, Pulaski County Youth Services’ programs touch the lives of thousands of young people. Through programs like ACT Prep, Vision 2025 Leadership Institute, A Shoe Into Success, afterschool and out-of-school programs we help keep young people off the street while improving test scores, increasing financial literacy, developing job skills, and building self-esteem in thousands of youths – a testament to our deep and continued investment in the lives of Pulaski County’s next generation of leaders.

With your help, Pulaski County Youth Services can expand our reach. A donation of $5,000 could pay to send 100 additional students to tour a college or university, OR put 50 additional students through our ACT Prep program. A gift of $3,000 could pay for a child to stay in afterschool and out-of-school programs for an entire year AND buy 40 pairs of athletic shoes for students in the A Shoe Into Success program. Your donations go directly to programs that inspire and enrich the lives of young people in Pulaski County.

The Vision 2025 Leadership Institute identifies young women in the 9th through 12th grades with extraordinary potential and empowers them as leaders. The yearlong program focuses on empowerment, building leadership skills, mentoring, community service, academic enrichment, and academic and career advising. Young women engage in activities including: tutoring, college tours, leadership conferences, service-learning, ACT prep, cultural enrichment, health and nutrition education, physical fitness, professional development workshops, self-esteem building opportunities, etiquette coaching dinners, college readiness workshops, and much more.

Events like the Vision 2025 Women’s Power Breakfast and Champions of Youth Dinner allow us to recognize the achievements of members of our community who are doing amazing work on behalf of Pulaski County’s youth. Join us for the Vision 2025 Women’s Power Breakfast on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 9 a.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel located at 925 South University Avenue in Little Rock. This year we will honor the Vision 2025 Philanthropy Award recipient Judy Tenenbaum, Advocate for Youth Award recipient Tamika Edwards, Visionary Award recipient Judge Paula Juels Jones, and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient former Arkansas First Lady Ginger Beebe.
