Closing out Season One is the return of last year's fan favorite, Black Nativity!
Black Nativity is a celebration of the nativity story through gospel music imbued with the Black experience. A generational story that is given life through words, music, narrative, movement, and the connection found in fellowship.
Experience this Gospel retelling of the Nativity through high energy music and extraordinary dance. Acclaimed poet Langston Hughes creates a unique theatrical experience by using dialogue, narration, gospel songs, and folk spirituals to celebrate cultural traditions and the birth of the Christ Child. Honor the season with this joyous holiday celebration.
Running time is approximately 2 hours with one 20 minute intermission.
