Participants enjoy cocktails, appetizers and camaraderie while perusing silent auction items – many of which are made by authentic Indian artists, artisans and craftsmen. It may be cool in March, but Harmony Health Clinic (HHC) will heat things up with its annual fundraiser, ‘Bollywood Nights’. On Saturday, March 3, 2018, HHC along with members from the Greater Little Rock Indian community will be hosting the 10th annual India for Harmony Fundraiser, ‘Bollywood Nights’. The event will be held at the Metroplex Little Rock, from 5:30 PM until 11:00 PM. It will be a gala event but will still have the Bollywood flare that everyone has come to love!

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., enjoy cocktails, appetizers and camaraderie while you bid for enticing silent auction items made by Indian artists and items from local businesses. At 7 PM, indulge in Bollywood Indian dances and “Fashion Show”. Following the program will be Indian Dinner catered by Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine in Little Rock. With the night still young, the entire ballroom will be cleared for dancing to Indian and American tunes late into the night. All of this is included with the pre purchase of an individual ticket for $75 or couple for $125. Tickets are available for purchase online at centralarkansastickets.com. Donations are also welcome as the proceeds from the silent auction and the ticket sales benefit Harmony Health Clinic.

Indu Soora, co-chair of the event said “Last year’s Bollywood-themed event was a huge success and raised $105,000 for Harmony Health Clinic. It’s a pleasure to offer the Little Rock community a tactile journey to India through Bollywood dances, music, fashion, and food. Most importantly, we want to raise funds again to help Harmony Health Clinic so that it can continue its honorable work of providing quality health care to those most in need. Special thanks to Rajesh Chokhani, Vice President of Welspun Tubular, who brings in a substantial amount of donations with their vendors.”

“We are honored that Little Rock’s Indian community is so dedicated to supporting our mission,” said Justin Wise, Executive Director of HHC. “This year’s celebration will be very colorful and exciting and is a great opportunity for our community members and their families to celebrate Little Rock’s diversity while supporting a wonderful cause.”
