A new original work by local playwright Phillip H. McMath, Call Me Mara is set in early 1942 just after the United States entered World War II. It explores the dynamics resulting from a blind date that connects two families who are doing their part in fighting the war by building bomber engines for the government. Is anything or anyone off limits when trying to close a business deal or have a little bit of fun?
March 7's performance will feature a talk-back after the show with author and playwrite Philip McMath.
