Dinner and Auction on the Grounds
St. Joseph Center of Arkansas will host its 4th annual Lettuce Grow event! Guests will gather on the Center's gorgeous 63-acre grounds for farm-fresh fare, craft beer and signature cocktail, as well as silent auction, a journey through the farm, first ever growler pull, and good ol' Southern hospitality. All proceeds work to support the Center's mission: to preserve and restore the historic property, and to support it's sustainable farming and community outreach initiatives.
St. Joseph Center seeks to be a source of physical, spiritual and educational nourishment for its community. Likewise, the Lettuce Grow fundraiser celebrates the roots of the Center's mission, providing guests with a meal to remember - made with ingredients harvested on the grounds, as well as other local produce - and an opportunity to come together in support of a home grown organization. The chef for the evening will be Alicia Watson of Vita & Vera, known for her "plant-forward" approach to fine dining. Desserts will be provided by Pulaski Techs Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Institute; craft beer will be provided by Flyway Brewing, who'll be pouring their Bluewing Berry Wheat and Free Range Brown Ale. Guests can browse a silent auction featuring artwork created by resident St. Joseph artists while listening to the sounds of Little Rock's Almost Infamous.
