ABOUT ANGELA + DEREK

"I found out through a friend of a friend about a band that was looking to maybe add a female harmony singer, so arrangements were made for me to go sit in on one of their practices as sort of an informal audition. There was a mutual attraction right away, and our voices turned out to be a perfect match, and so I landed not only a spot in my first band but also a wonderful romantic partner as well.

While there are some unique aspects in sharing the stage with your spouse, for the most part our relationship is exactly the same as everyone else’s. For instance, he can hear thenuanced differences between a guitar played through a Fender Twin Reverb versus a Roland JC-120, but he doesn’t hear me ask him to take his laundry out of the dryer.”
